Prior to joining London Fischer, Jonathan was an Associate Attorney at another New York-based insurance defense firm. He also worked as a Judicial Law Clerk for the State of New Jersey and held an internship in the New Jersey Attorney General's Office. Before attending law school, Jonathan worked as a paralegal, a legislative intern, and as a Transportation Security Officer for the TSA.
Passionate about the arts and culture, Jonathan investigated emerging Child Labor Law issues stemming from the convergence of the Entertainment and Tech industries for an article on “How to (Not) Exploit Your Internet Child Star: Unregulated Child Labor on YouTube, Instagram and Social Media.” The article was published by Seton Hall University’s Student Works in 2021.
Jonathan delved into the world of intellectual property law while interning at the Artworks Incubator and Legal Residency where he performed research regarding copyrights, trademarks, and licensing issues to protect against infringement claims.
Jonathan earned his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law and holds a B.A. in Criminal Justice/Political Science from Rutgers University.
When he is not practicing law, Jonathan balances his time between activity and leisure as a running enthusiast and a cinema connoisseur.
Representative Cases
- Won a motion to dismiss a lawsuit filed in connection with a work-related accident by showing through affidavits and work records that the plaintiff was laid off several days before the claimed date of loss. The motion, filed in 2023, was granted unopposed because plaintiff’s counsel withdrew upon learning that it wasn’t a real accident.
