Sharhonda Robinson-Edwards specializes in defending commercial disputes and general liability cases for international, national and local enterprises including restaurants, retailers and hospitality industry clients, transportation entities, construction companies and more.  She has extensive experience representing businesses through all phases of litigation on matters involving claims for premises liability, personal injury, Title IX, wrongful death, negligent security, trucking, transportation, and construction disputes.

She began her career practicing transactional law with a focus on business entity formation and joint ventures for international clients. Her litigation practice began with PIP (personal injury protection), SIU insurance claims, and Examinations Under Oath. She expanded her litigation practice to defend commercial disputes for business entities. She has over twenty years of legal experience with private firms, court systems, and other corporate entities. Her broad-based experience also includes contract law, family law, probate law, consumer law, and real estate transactions.

She is licensed to practice in the State of Florida, the Southern District of Florida, the Middle District of Florida, the State of California and the District of Columbia. Sharhonda is also a Florida Supreme Court Qualified Arbitrator.

Sharhonda received her Juris Doctor, from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad Law Center with a specialization in International Law while jointly obtaining a Masters in International Business Administration from their Huizenga College of Business. Sharhonda earned her B.A. degree in Economics from Howard University with a minor in Japanese and Business. 

She regularly gives back to the community through her involvement with various organizations including the TJ Reddick Bar Association, Broward County Bar Association, Miami-Dade Bar Association, Florida Association for Women Lawyers and her sorority, Broward County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
