He concentrates his practice on defending lawyers, insurance producers, securities broker-dealers, and other professionals from professional liability and professional ethics claims. He also handles complex commercial litigation and intellectual property/technology litigation, defending cases in both State and Federal courts across the United States.
In recent years, Tom began applying his expertise in defending intellectual property claims to defending and guiding clients in response to data security breaches. With the current epidemic of cybercrime, he also assists clients with establishing procedures to prevent repeat claims and mitigate future exposures.
Before joining London Fischer LLP, Tom was a partner at a large national insurance coverage and defense firm where he served as Co-Chair of the Lawyers Liability Team and a member of the Operations Group and Executive Committee. Prior to that, he was a law clerk in the U.S. District Court, Eastern District, in New York.
Tom holds both a J.D. from St. John’s School of Law and an LLM from the New York University School of Law.
Because of his knowledge, experience, and strong professional ethics, Tom has been selected by his peers to be a member of Super Lawyers every year since 2007.
When he's not in the courtroom or assisting clients in defeating cybercriminals, Tom can often be found on the golf course, perfecting his swing, or enjoying a quiet evening at home engrossed in a captivating book.
In fact, Tom has shared his love of reading with his community both as Cofounder of the Huguenot Children’s Library and President of the New Rochelle Public Library. He also has served as a Boy Scout leader and Little League Coach and is actively involved in his church ministry.
