Partner John Sparling and senior associate Christopher Ruggiero were chosen to lecture on property insurance coverage at ACE's Jersey City offices. The lecture was held on June 29, 2011 and focused on the application of various property coverage forms and insurance available in the industry. There were over 70 attendees in person and via teleconference. Practical application of property coverage and disputes relating to the Katrina and Japanese earthquake disasters were discussed. Credit is also given to associate, Scott Shapiro, for his efforts in preparing for this lecture.
Mr. Sparling and Mr. Ruggiero focus their practice on the representation of general contractors, owners, insurers and product manufacturers in, among other things, the construction and renovation of various well known facilities including Madison Square Garden, Lincoln Center, Columbia University, IAC/Interactive and the Hearst Tower headquarters in New York and also the World Trade Center 9/11 cleanup litigation involving over 10,000 lawsuits. Their practice also includes litigation in insurance coverage and declaratory judgment actions, large catastrophic fires, floods, construction and building claims and products and premises liability.
